On the night before I move back to college, I find it appropriate to say a few things:
This summer has been a grand one. It’s been really great. Friends, family, and fun.♥ I’ve really learned a lot from this summer. I’ve been hurt and managed to hurt myself along the way a few times, but all in all, I’ve learned to be strong again. Bit by bit. The residual effects remain, and while it may sometimes get to me, it makes me realize the past is the past and take every day in stride. Life is a marathon (yeah, I’m making a running metaphor :3 ). Good and bad days exist; “If you never had a bad day, you wouldn’t know what a good day is.” (This quote is so true. c: )
"Even the best fall down sometimes," but you learn to stand back up on your own two feet. Friends and family help along the way, and over time, you can find the strength to go on (Rise Against c: ). Do what you love to do with the people you love and enjoy life.
I’m a little anxious for sophomore year— just a bit— but I’m genuinely looking forward to every moment of it because I’ll be doing all the things I love (MATH AND PHYSICS :3) with the people who always make me smile, and it will begin soon enough. :)
